Feature review – sunflowernsun

When I came across Heidi’s Etsy shop I was amazed by how wonderful both her jewelry and her photos are. Her style is vintage, and every piece of jewelry get treated like a jeweled crown. I love looking at her jewelry and the photos she has taken for her Etsy shop.

My favorite piece from her store is this crystal charm bracelet (pictured on the left).

I interviewed Heidi to learn more about her shop. Enjoy!

When did you first start making jewelry?

Off and on throughout my life. I’ve always loved jewelry. When I was young I would spend hour after hour listening to a dear old lady Charlotte. She had a collection of jewels and a story to go with each one. When visiting my Grandmother I would sneak across the street  for some tea and stories. Her boxes would come out and one by one she would would share her stories with me. I love the vintage look and feel of things and nothing makes me happier then bringing something out of years of hiding back to the lime light

What is your favorite piece of jewelry (that you made)?

My favorite piece? I cant choose each piece has a story and a meaning to me , ALL OF THEM:)

What’s your favorite material/technique to work with?

All things vintage. I love the well made unique charm that old jewelry has! I love the vintage look and feel of things and nothing makes me happier then bringing something out of years of hiding back to the lime light.

Any tips for new artisans just starting to sell online?

Well since I am starting out as well I would say be patient and don’t forget to enjoy each moment!

Any last words for our readers?

Last words, as Charlotte would always say , LIVE life to the fullest, never look back and never forget the little beads and chains that hold it all together.
