Blog Bash sponsor spotlight: The Candy Tree

Today’s feature review is with Emma from The Candy Tree. The Candy Tree is the home of handmade crafts and specializes in jewelry constructed with sterling silver, freshwater pearls and semi precious stones. I love how delicate and feminine her jewelry is, and was happy when she joined me in the “Blog Bash 2011” giveaway event I’m hosting this week.
Tell us a little bit more about yourself …
I have been making jewelry for the past few years and am completely self taught. I enjoy all things crafty and often spend quiet evenings with a glass of wine whilst I cross stitch!
What’s your favorite material/technique to work with?
I prefer to use sterling silver with semi precious stones and freshwater pearls for their unique shapes and colors.  I love natural, organic forms and gain inspiration from nature and I especially love trees!

What do you like/dislike about selling jewelry online?
Why I like selling online:  You can reach a much wider audience and meet like minded crafters from across the world.  Dislike: It’s highly competitive!

Any tips for new artisans just starting to sell online?
Don’t give up!  There is a lot of competition out there but be persistent and try to use as many different outlets as you can to spread the word about your products.

How can people contact you?
Thank you Emma, it was a pleasure to feature your work!
