I was walking on the beach with my son which loves to pick up shells and stones from the sea. We were walking down a non populated beach, and I noticed these amazing sea glass pieces just lying there! I never saw sea glass myself, only pictures on the internet. The beach was full of such stones, so I immediately started picking them up like a little girl …

If you’re not familiar with the term “sea glass”, it’s actually pieces of glass left from old broken bottles and other glass objects, which were tumbled and smoothed by the waves, water and sand, creating smooth, frosted shards of glass. They can be used for beautiful jewelry. I’m thinking about making pendants with some of the glasses I found … Will keep you posted 🙂
